In recent years I&#039;ve read that Microsoft outspends all other software companies on user interface research, but have been unable to turn up a source for that.  If you have such a source it would be much appreciated, and if you can spare the time to answer another question or two it would be wonderful to hear from you.  I&#039;ve been a fan since you first started your Office 12 blog, and was delighted to see your recent video on Metro.  Excellent work, Mr. Harris.  Thanks for all your inspiring contributions.</description>
