I’m writing an article about Metro UI, Ribbons, and other MS innovations in software design. In recent years I’ve read that Microsoft outspends all other software companies on user interface research, but have been unable to turn up a source for that. If you have such a source it would be much appreciated, and if you can spare the time to answer another question or two it would be wonderful to hear from you. I’ve been a fan since you first started your Office 12 blog, and was delighted to see your recent video on Metro. Excellent work, Mr. Harris. Thanks for all your inspiring contributions.
